Environmental Performance

Sustainability, built into the work.

We don’t treat sustainability as a separate initiative. It’s the natural result of plant care managed properly.
Sustainable Principles

How we approach it.

Environmental impact isn’t a separate layer. It’s shaped by everyday decisions: how visits are made, how water is managed, how resources are used, and how plant health is maintained over time.
Low-emission servicing
No van-based rounds. The operating model is designed to reduce emissions at scale.
Responsible water use
Watering is adjusted based on plant condition and environment, not fixed schedules or routine.
No peat
Peat is an environmentally damaging material we have chosen to eliminate entirely.
Long-term plant health
Plant environments are managed for stability and improvement, not frequent replacement.
Deliberate interventions
Fertilisers and treatments are applied selectively, based on actual plant condition.
Context-based decisions
Plant care responds to how each space is used, with decisions made in context rather than by default.

Aligned with how buildings are assessed.

We understand how planted environments contribute to leading environmental and wellbeing frameworks—and how to manage them in a way that supports those outcomes in practice.
BREEAM
Supports lifecycle efficiency by reducing waste, limiting replacement cycles, and managing plant environments for long-term performance.
WELL Building Standard
Strengthens how a space feels and functions for the people in it, using planting to support comfort, wellbeing, and day-to-day experience.
LEED
Aligns with operational sustainability goals through considered maintenance strategies, material choices, and controlled environmental impact.

Structured to meet recognised standards.

We are formalising our service around recognised safety, quality, and performance frameworks, ensuring it scales consistently across sites and meets the expectations of larger, compliance-driven environments.
SSIP
(in progress)
Formalising our safety standards to meet the requirements of larger, compliance-led environments and procurement processes.
ISO 9001
(in development)
Formalising the systems already in place across our service, ensuring they are documented, auditable, and scalable as we grow.
WELL AP
(in progress)
Our founder is currently undertaking WELL AP accreditation, strengthening how we manage plant environments.

The impact of doing things properly.
